As much as we were looking forward to seeing everyone rope, we want to ensure that every event provides a worthwhile experience for our competitors while remaining financially sustainable to host. Unfortunately, with the current number of entries, we are unable to do that.

🙏🏻 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🙏🏻

We will be short a few hands this weekend and would love some help with time keeping, pushing cows and stripping ropes. Volunteering is a great way to support the sport, learn more about breakaway roping, and be part of a fun team atmosphere. What a weekend for Addi Cullen at the Punchy Pistol Productions Breakaway Roping in Coombs! Addi dominated the leaderboard, earning checks in multiple rounds, winning Fast Time both days and finishing as the highest money winner of the entire weekend

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to support our first Punchy Pistol Productions Breakaway at the Coombs Rodeo Grounds.

We saw incredible runs, first catches, personal bests and some very exciting competition throughout the weekend!

🔥 NEW 2D SIDE POT ADD-ON! 🔥

💰 Want another chance to win money at our breakaway ropings? The 2D Side Pot is an optional add-on that gives newer or developing ropers a chance to cash in, not just the fastest overall times!

HOW IT WORKS: The 1D starts with the fastest time of the event. The 2D is created by adding 2 seconds to the fastest time.

📍 Example: If the fastest time of the round is a 2.5

🏆 1D: 2.5 – 4.49
🏆 2D: 4.5 and slower

Competitors are only paid within the division their time falls into.

✨ Why Add a 2D?
✔️ More opportunities to win money
✔️ Encourages growth and confidence
✔️ Makes the events more inclusive for all skill levels.

💵 How the Add-On Works:
• Optional side pot entry
• Payouts based only on competitors entered in the side pot
• Results split into divisions using the predetermined time break

📢 Entry Options:
➡️ Enter the 2D Side Pot once = Only your first competition entry is eligible for the side pot.
➡️ Enter the 2D Side Pot twice = Both competition entries are eligible for the side pot.
⚠️ Side pot entries correspond to your competition entries and cannot be transferred between runs.
