Alex was the heart of our hockey family.
Team manager. Photographer. Social media expert. Fundraising lead. Game streamer. And somehow, whenever there was a gap, Alex was there to fill it.
But the truth is, Alex’s impact went far beyond everything she did for our teams. She was the most outstanding hockey mom we have ever had the privilege of knowing. There was never an opportunity missed for Josie and Jackson—Alex was going to get them wherever they needed to be, support whatever they wanted to pursue, and make sure they had every chance to experience the things they loved. Her commitment to her children was unmatched.
In just a few short years, Alex gave more of herself to our hockey community than most people could accomplish in a lifetime. She gave her time, her energy, her talents, and most importantly, her heart.
We honestly don’t know how to do competitive hockey without Alex.
She was an extraordinary human being—kind, caring, selfless, thoughtful, and always looking for a way to help. She was a friend to everyone, and someone we all aspired to be like.
Alex set the bar incredibly high, not just as a hockey mom, but as a person.
We will miss her more than words can say. We will carry her with us in every rink, every game, every tournament, every photo, and every moment we show up for our kids, and hers.
