As another hockey season comes to an end, we want to thank everyone who supported the Peguis Mohawks throughout the year. From tournament to tournament, our team proudly represented Peguis First Nation on and off the ice, and we could not be more proud of every player, coach, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who wore our jersey with pride. 🏒🪶
This season was especially meaningful as we also saw the establishment of the Peguis Jr Mohawks program. Watching the next generation begin their journey under the Peguis Mohawks name was something special, and we are excited for what the future holds for our young players and teams.
This year also marked the 10th year that the Peguis Mohawks represented at the Fred Sasakamoose tournament. While this milestone is important, the Peguis Mohawks name itself has lived on for generations within our community. The name carries history, pride, tradition, and the spirit of all those who wore the jersey before us. We are honoured to continue carrying that legacy forward every time we step on the ice.
Although some tournaments did not have the turnout we hoped for, we are still grateful for every opportunity to compete, travel, and represent our community. Through every season, the Peguis Mohawks continue to represent Peguis First Nation with pride, heart, and determination — and we will continue to do so for many years to come.
Thank you to everyone who supported us this season through donations, sponsorships, fundraising, attending games, purchasing apparel, sharing posts, and cheering us on wherever we went. Your support means everything to our teams and organization.
We are already looking ahead to next season and will be hosting fundraisers in the coming months to help prepare for another great year of hockey. Be sure to keep an eye on our page for upcoming events and announcements.
