What a way to finish a season.
After two tough losses yesterday, this team walked into a 7 PM tie-breaker with more determination than ever — and somehow, they were having the most fun we’ve seen them have all season.
Winning that game, they carried that energy straight into a second tie-breaker at 9 PM. They battled, left everything they had on the field and came up just short.
There are a lot of smiles and a whole lot of pride in this picture. What you don’t see is the grit, determination and heart each of these girls brought to the field last night.
And behind them, a group of coaches who navigated every high and low, made down-to-the-minute decisions and kept this team believing through it all.
The U15A Western Canadian Championship may not have ended the way we hoped, but we couldn’t be prouder of how this team finished it!
They played their hearts out, together and had a whole lot of fun doing it. ❤️ 🥎
