As you know, last year's NIMBY Fifty X was the final instalment of our beloved marathon xc race here in Pemberton. We thank you for supporting us by racing and hope you're excited for the upcoming riding season.

Today, we're proud to share some news from Whistler, where the local mountain bike association, WORCA, have stepped up to offer a brand new race to the region.

On June 6, the Back Forty is bringing the magic of Marathon XC to Whistler. The new event, inspired by the NIMBY format, is a mass-start mountain bike race that will push riders technical skills and physical limits on a 38km course with roughly 1,700m of elevation gain.

We're happy to support the Back Forty and we hope to see you in Whistler on June 6th.

Registration is $99 and capped at 350 racers.

Thanks for 10 awesome years everyone. We're as passionate now as we were 10 years ago about mountain biking and the sea to sky racing culture. May the spirit of live on forever. We are thrilled with the designs Pemby-based Limelight Screen Printing has commissioned from local artists to commemorate the final NIMBY FIFTY! You'll have the option to choose the design and t-shirt style/colour out of what you see here. They will be printing on site after the race at North Arm Farm. Quantities are limited.
