Way to go, Pemberton & Lil’wat! ❤️🧡

Together, we raised $2,030 for the Terry Fox Foundation — $780 at the run site and another $1,250 online!

A HUGE shout-out to Antoine Arcand, who single-handedly raised $800 which was our entire run-site fundraising goal! Antoine also ran to Whistler and back (42 km) and then joined us along the d**e for an extra “fun” 5K. 😅👏

And a big shout-out to Bill Ritchie, who raised $289 and walked 4 km in memory of his stepfather. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated, came out, walked, ran, rode and helped make the morning such a good one. It was an absolute beauty of a day!

A big thank you Pemberton Valley Supermarket for donating the cookies, oranges and apples, and for the coffee and tea that kept everyone going. ☕🍪🍊🍎

Thank you to Jackie Warnica for all your help year after year, and to Darin Towers, Maggie Young, Sofia Towers and June McDermott for volunteering and making the day happen.

No racing required. Questionable post–Barn Dance athletic ability fully accepted. 😂

❤️ A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Pemberton/Líl̓wat Terry Fox Run today to keep Terry’s legacy alive.

When Terry was forced to end his run in 1980, he left us with these words: “All I can say is, if there’s any way I can get out there and finish it, I will.”

Terry couldn’t finish what he started—but we can. Together, we carry it forward for ourselves, our families, our communities, and for people we may never meet. In the 45 years since Terry first set out on the Marathon of Hope, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over $850 million for cancer research—funds that have truly saved lives.

Today, our community added to that legacy by raising $766 on-site and $700 online—for a total of $1,466. Every step, every dollar, and every act of support brings us closer to the world Terry dreamed of.

A special thank you to the Pemberton Valley Supermarket for donations of oranges, apples and cookies. Thank you to Stay Wyld Organics for the samples of LST Energy Strips. Thank you to Jackie Warnica and June for volunteering. Thank you to my daughter, Sofia Towers for volunteering every year (Natalie Langmann-Towers). Terry's legacy lives on—thank you for being part of it. 💙
