๐ PRC Fall Work Party โ What a Productive Day! ๐
Thanks to a hardworking group of volunteers, we accomplished an incredible amount at our Fall Work Party! ๐ช๐ด
Hereโs a look at everything we tackled:
๐ Removal and storage of banners
๐ Removal of the white stall roof
๐ Clubhouse and storage shed organization
๐ Installed posts for the new warm-up pen gates
๐ Obtained panels to complete the alley stalls
๐ Manure pile cleanup
๐ Raking and pine needle removal
๐ Cut up and removed a massive pile of construction debris (an entire trailer load!) from our 2026 grounds improvements
๐ Obstacle cleanup
๐ Bottle depot run
๐ Repaired a couple of picnic tables
๐ Built a cement block wall around our fire pit
๐ Stored garbage bins
๐ Winterized the waterline and put away hoses
๐ Installed new locks on the announcerโs booth and padlocks for the arena
๐ A HUGE thank you to Rob Veenendaal and Atlas Powersweeping - Kelowna for the use of their trailer, and Chenoa McMullen-Hunt, Jason Jb, Keely Portsmouth, Barb Janzen, Ryan Williams, Tracy Armstrong-Macmillan, and her daughter for giving their time, energy, and hard work today!
And a special thank you to Barb for making sure everyone was well fed with a delicious lunch! โค๏ธ
One of the best things about PRC is seeing what we can accomplish when members come together and pitch in. From work parties like this one to helping at events and taking on the many little jobs throughout the year, those volunteer hours really do add up and make a difference.
Our annual four-hour volunteer commitment is an important part of keeping PRC running, maintaining our grounds and facilities, and making sure we can continue to offer the events and community we all enjoy. โค๏ธ
