As we prepare for the upcoming WCHRA race season and begin an exciting new chapter for Desert Park, public horse boarding will be unavailable for the foreseeable future. We anticipate welcoming boarders back next year once new boarding pens have been constructed outside of the WCHRA licensed areas.

Our arena will remain open for haul-ins, and we look forward to continuing to welcome riders to enjoy the facility.

Haul-in parking (starting August 31st) will be located at the south end of the grounds, with a designated path providing access to the arena. We ask that all visitors please follow the posted route to help ensure the safety of both horses and race operations.

We are incredibly excited about this new partnership and what it means for the future of Desert Park. We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and continued support as we navigate this transition and work toward expanding our facilities and hosting more events next year.

RV Accommodation for Standardbred Race Meet Participants!

We’ve been receiving a lot of inquiries about RV spots at Desert Park for the upcoming Standardbred race meets. We’re incredibly grateful for the interest!

At this time, we have started a waiting list for our spots. If you’re still looking for a place to stay from late August through approximately December, we’d love to help connect you with other local options.

If you own or manage an RV park, campground, or RV accommodation in the South Okanagan and have availability during this time, please comment below or send us a message. We’d be happy to refer race teams and visitors your way!

Do you have your tickets for Hearts For Heroes yet? It happens Sunday August 23rd at Desert Park in Osoyoos. The day includes music, entertainment, beverage garden, engaging demonstrations and 2 shows from the legendary RCMP Musical Ride.

We are so excited to be the venue for this event again this year! Please note our arena will be closed July 2nd to July 5th for this event! We will have a beer garden and concession each day Friday, Saturday Sunday starting at noon open to the public for spectating!
