Our intrepid adventurers of the South Pacific have returned victorious - alive, fulfilled, and amazed!

Designed and led by TRAK Pilot Zack Kruzins of in May 2026, these two back-to-back kayak expeditions introduced TRAK paddlers from around the world the legendary islands and coral atolls of French Polynesia.

After landing in Papeete, Tahiti, each group assembled their kayaks and packed up for a week of true expedition paddling. Together, they crossed sheltered lagoons, explored tiny islets protected by ranging surf, camped at remote villages whose inhabitants welcomed them with open arms, and ate plenty of delicious traditional cuisine complete with entertainment, stories, and lifelong friendships.

For TRAK paddlers, this is what kayaking is all about: lifelong exploration, learning, and connection in places we simply couldn't reach without a packable sea kayak.

Real travel. Real adventure. Off the beaten path, where no one else can follow.

Where will your TRAK take you?

At Pingtan Wind Farm, the turbines were not the only things moving.

The sea had its own rhythm that day.

Wind on the surface.
Waves pushing back.
A coastline that looked cinematic from a distance - and a lot more alive once the paddle touched water.

This was a day trip in China, but not the soft, sightseeing kind.

A little travel.
A quick setup.
Then straight into the real story:

rough water, open coastline, turning blades on the horizon, and that strange feeling you get when a place stops being a view and starts becoming an experience.

Be honest - are you paddling this, or filming it from land?

POV: your kayak fits in a bag…
but still takes you here.

Clear water. Remote islands. Wild coastlines. A kayak that travels with you, instead of deciding where you can go.

The Solomon Islands unfolded.

Which slide would you paddle into first?

🌋 MASSIVE props to TRAK paddler Ryan Bishman from the Pacific Northwest who just completed the race - a journey of more than 70 miles - in just 25 hours!

Two years ago, when Ryan set a goal to complete this race, he knew it would require a change in his equipment, skills, and endurance. Choosing the TRAK 2.0 ended up being a key part of that journey.

Since then, Ryan has trained consistently—paddling several times a week and building up both skill and endurance.

Here's what Ryan shared with us after completing the race:

"[The] boat has been a great partner throughout. It gave me the confidence to push longer distances and handle a wide range of conditions. What I’ve appreciated just as much is the support from your team. Anytime I’ve had questions or looked to upgrade components, you’ve been responsive and helpful. That kind of support matters, especially when preparing for something as demanding as Seventy48. Thanks again for building a great product and backing it with great people."

Congrats and thanks to Ryan for defying what's expected from a packable performance kayak and inspiring the rest of us to paddle longer, harder, and further 🙌

Who’s this folding kayak for? Honestly, more people than you might think.

Whether you're a professional paddler or still consider yourself a beginner, you deserve to feel proud for investing in the real thing.

Not a toy, gimmick, or “entry-level” kayak you’ll need to replace or upgrade later.

A true sea kayak.

A performance touring kayak.

A portable folding kayak that just happens to fit in a bag.

Congrats on making the right choice 👏

This is Jacob .naturberg

He flew to Norway with his kayak.

Not for a weekend photo op.
For six days of paddling, camping, carrying, packing, unpacking, and moving with the weather.

Everything he needed came with him - kayak, paddles, drysuit, tent, food, camera, and the small things that make a wild place feel livable for a few days.

That’s what makes this story so good.

It’s not just that he went to Norway.
It’s that he found a way to bring the boat with him.

A 16-foot kayak, folded into real travel.

And then opened back up where the adventure actually begins.

Where would you take yours?

People often ask us, "what did the TRAK 1.0 look like?" Well, here it is!

The TRAK 1.0 offered the same on-water performance and brilliant adjustable rocker as the 2.0 -but it was a lot heavier, more bulky when packed, and admittedly trickier to travel with (especially by air). Average assembly time was longer, and the potential use cases were a bit more limited.

Still, 20 years since it was first launched, the TRAK 1.0 (aka the T-1600) remains legendary. It was the first true performance sea kayak designed to fit in a bag, and owners all over the world are STILL paddling them!

Shoutout to our Team Elder, Gion, pictured here, who has been with us since the beginning ❤️

A kayak you won’t outgrow.

At first, most people look for a kayak that is easy to own.

Something they can store.
Something they can move.
Something that doesn’t need a garage, a roof rack, or a complicated life around it.

But after a while, the dream gets bigger.

You want to paddle farther.
You want to feel more confident in open water.
You want a boat that can handle calm mornings, changing weather, longer trips, and the kind of places that make you forget your phone exists.

That’s where TRAK begins to make sense.

It’s not just about portability.
It’s about buying one kayak that can grow with your skills, your lifestyle, and the adventures you haven’t even planned yet.

For apartment paddlers.
For road-trippers and vanlifers.
For people who travel.
For people who don’t want to keep upgrading every time their confidence grows.

A good kayak should not limit you.
It should open the door to more places, more weekends, more quiet moments, and more stories you’ll carry for years.

TRAK 2.0 - portable when you need it, capable when you free it.

Let it take you places.

There are places you don’t just paddle through.

You slow down. You look up. You feel the weather move across the mountains and the water shift under your boat.

And for a while, that’s enough.

Where’s the one place that made you stop paddling and just take it all in?
