Posted under “proud to support local racing!” On the eve of the release of our new ultra-light Daylight Dusters, we were stoked to award one to the winner of our Duster Summer Heat Series at our home track Freedom Park BMX — 9 novice, Kade Nunez! Joining Kade at the finish line celebration were the series top 10, including runner-up — 9 expert Jackson V — who was awarded a Daylight jersey and a spot on the factory team roster for his efforts in the series and development over the past two seasons as a Gold Coast/Daylight team rider! A second Duster was also awarded, drawn from every entry over the course of the 10 week series, going to 10 year old girl, Rowan Givens! Congratulations to Freedom Park BMX on a great race series and to all the riders who raced their tail feathers off all summer!

Another custom MADE show build — this one, a battle-worn Stars and Stripes 29” Mondo cruiser with Box Components | USA Prime 9 speed drivetrain, SDG COMPONENTS stitched leather saddle, Profile Racing wheels, Hope Technology brake, and Hero Bike Parts 29” alloy Thunderbolt fork, Chariot direct mount cranks and Mighty stem. Daylight took to the road last week, traveling to Portland, Oregon for the Handmade Bike Show where we were front and center, showcasing both our championship winning ARC c3 BMX race bikes as well as our new mountain bike line up including the full suspension enduro/trail Reward, cross-country hardtail Eclipse, and redesigned dirt jumper Resolve — all hand built on the California Gold Coast.
