🏁 Race Day Recap
Not quite the night we were hoping for, but we battled hard and brought home a 6th-place finish in the feature. Practice got off to a rough start when we had a little accident and made contact with the outside wall. The team worked hard to get the car back in shape and ready for the feature. In the race, we tried to thread the needle and unfortunately got hit in the left rear, leaving us with more damage to deal with. Will and the entire team they’re already getting the car pulled apart to assess the damage and figure out what we’re working with. Not the result we wanted, but we’ll take the 6th, learn from it, and keep pushing.

Race Recap!
Will had a great night at the track! After the last race, the goal was to get back to V8 Stock speed, and he definitely showed that the hard work was paying off. In the Heart Race, Will finished 6th, but unfortunately broke out twice. Still, it was a solid run and gave the team some good information heading into the feature.
Starting 14th in the feature, Will worked his way through the field and drove all the way to the front to take the WIN! What a comeback! After working hard to get back to V8 Stock speed, everything came together when it mattered.

What a debut for Will in the OSCAR Super Late Model Series! Will brought home a 4th place finish in his first ever series start. He had a fast car all night, had an absolute blast, and was super excited to make his debut. He’s incredibly happy with the finish and proud of the night.

None of this would be possible without all the amazing help and support behind him. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this debut happen from the crew turning wrenches to everyone who supported Will along the way. We truly appreciate every single one of you!

Will got his first opportunity to run the car at full speed in preparation for Friday night, and it was a great success. He established a strong baseline, learned a lot about the car, and gathered plenty of valuable information to build on heading into race night.
There’s still work to do, but having a solid starting point and knowing what the car can do at speed has everyone feeling confident. To say Will is excited for Friday is an understatement! He’s been looking forward to this one, and we can’t wait to see how it all comes together when the green flag drops.
