Evolve Martial Arts is a prominent martial arts school founded in Maple Ridge, BC. We offer classes in Taekwondo, Kickboxing and Tricking.

Evolve Martial Arts is located in Maple Ridge, BC Canada. We are a family-oriented martial arts school that caters to the Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Langley area. Our school teaches the Korean martial arts/ sport known as Taekwondo. Taek won do is a Korean Martial Arts that is broken down as the art of kicking and punching. We focus on both Traditional, Olympic style and Weapons training. We teach our students the importance of respect, self-control and strive to develop leadership and self-confidence. Our school strives to create a community where people from all walks of life feel welcome and safe as they pursue their goals.

Trunk or Treat is today at Evolve! 🎃

Kids, wear your costumes to class today. After training, head out to the parking lot for some early Halloween trick or treating.

Parents, this is your moment. Decorate your trunk, grab your candy, and see how your creativity stacks up against the other cars (no pressure, but we will be taking notes).

We’ve updated our class schedule!

Fall brings new additions: sparring is now on Mondays and Wednesdays, a dedicated Strength & Conditioning block on Saturdays, and our newest program, Competitive Poomsae with Master Chung.

Sparring twice a week gives students more opportunities to test themselves. Strength and conditioning builds the foundation for better technique and fewer injuries.

Competitive Poomsae opens a new path for those who want to compete in patterns.

More options. More growth. More ways to train the way that works for our students.

Welcome back students!

Happy belated Thanksgiving — hope you had a great long weekend. 🦃

Last Saturday, our team competed at the 2026 Korean Consul Cup, testing their skills in sparring and patterns against schools across BC.

What we noticed most?
The same dedicated students returned this year, and the year before that. Watching them continue to apply what they’ve learned in the dojang against real opponents is something we’re proud to see.

To our fellow competitors, your consistency and perseverance to challenge yourselves is an inspiration to your peers.

It’s time for a little bit of R&R.

Our camps are designed to keep kids active, engaged, and building confidence all summer long through Taekwondo training, themed activities, games and outdoor fun.

Becoming a black belt isn't just about mastering kicks and forms. It's about who you become in the process. It’s:

🥋respect for yourself and others.
🥋confidence that comes from earning something, not just receiving it.

That's what a black belt represents.

Our poom belts have been building that since day one, and we are beyond proud to know they’ve been working hard for the upcoming testing.

Black Belt Testing is on June 13.
Come and support our soon-to-be black belts!
