London Model Aircraft Club The London Model Aircraft Club was formed to provide it’s members with facilities needed to pursue their passion for flight. New members are always welcome.

Come join us! This year we are celebrating 50 years of LMAC. Keith R. was the original founder way back then. Here is the story from the horse’s mouth –
“Murray Trussler, the fellow who used to own the hobby shop down on Hamilton Road and Rectory Street during that time frame, asked if I would like to start a flying club, and he went to City Hall and arranged to rent that piece of property where w

e are now for $1.00 every year. So during that time in 1968 was when we started up the flying club at this location. During that time I was the president of LMAC and we used to hold the meetings at my parents place at Gore Rd and Hamilton Road. I do have the film which is now on a CD that I took at our first fun fly in 1972 but the club never joined MAAC until 1976.”

Our annual raising of the flags on spring clean-up day.
Field has been rolled, cut and cleaned.
With flight training starting this coming Saturday, we are officially open for the season.
