🎶 Members' Opening Social – Saturday, June 20 🎶

Mark your calendars and join us at Brooklyn Marina as we officially kick off the 2026 boating season!

We'll be serving hot dogs and hamburgers, and local favourites Blue Rocks will be entertaining us throughout the evening.

Whether you're a long-time member, a new member , come out for a fun evening of good food, great music, and even better company.

To help us plan for food and seating, please RSVP by Thursday June 18 by replying to this email and letting us know how many people will be attending.

We're also looking for a few volunteers to help make the evening a success. If you can assist with setup, serving food, or cleanup, please mention that in your RSVP. Many hands make light work, and volunteering is a great way to meet fellow members.

Bring your family, bring a friend, and help us celebrate the start of another great season on the waterfront.

⛵ Ever wanted to learn how to sail?

Brooklyn Marina is pleased to offer a series of Adult Sailing Sessions led by experienced sailor Sandy Nicholson.

Whether you're completely new to sailing or looking to refresh your skills, these informal sessions will introduce the basics of sailing, including understanding the wind, points of sail, boat balance, and more.

📅 Thursdays: July 2, July 9, and July 16
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Brooklyn Marina

The sessions are designed for adults and will include discussion, demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

A big thank you to the South Queens Chamber of Commerce for partnering with us on a fantastic Business After Hours Networking Event at Brooklyn Marina!

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and so many people making new connections and enjoying an evening together on the waterfront.

Special thanks to Tina Moorey and Kim for the delicious nautical treats, and to our amazing volunteers Melanie, Lois, Carol, and Heather for helping make everyone feel welcome.

We're excited about the new Tap & Go Map initiative and look forward to offering this added benefit to our visiting boaters.

Thank you to everyone who attended. We look forward to hosting more community events in the future!
