I have to give this amazing soul a huge shout out! Sam is an amazing human I get the privilege of working with along side his powerlifting coach. If you don't know who Sam is he is one of our LRC gym family. He inspires so many at LRC

I don't look up to athletes or celebrities, I look up to individuals like Sam. He is kind, hard working, inspirational, make me laugh daily, and has drive I've never seen anyone have. He shows up always with a smile on his face ready to work. He makes me laugh so much and is a joy to work with. I absolutely love my time with my friend.

Sam, I'm am so proud of you and all your hard work. You earn all of this buddy. 🫶💪

We are thrilled to have Cheryl Harsch, CMMOTA-RMT join us for the “A Gathering of the Healing Arts in the Country” Retreat
Sept 14/25 from Noon-6 pm.

After nearly 17 years in office administration roles in small and large corporations, Cheryl took a leap of faith to pursue massage therapy. As she discovered her passion for health and wellness early on she knew this was the right path.

Cheryl graduated from Mount Royal University (Calgary, AB) in 2014 and has experience working within a chiropractic and multidisciplinary wellness centre, as well as mobile massage therapy across Calgary and Cochrane.

In 2019, Cheryl and her fur kids (Luna & Stella) took another leap and moved to Leduc to be near her family; and in 2021, she opened an independent practice called Beyond Your Surface Massage and works as a Teacher’s Assistant with Seminars For Health.

Cheryl is devoted to providing patient-centered care and promotes self-empowerment, encouraging individuals to actively advocate for their own health and well-being. She uses massage and manual therapies to enhance your body awareness and emphasize preventive care, believing this approach is vital for achieving lasting results and quality of life improvements.

Mona Lisa Beatty – Nia Instructor
Mona Lisa fell in love with Nia in 2018 and hasn’t looked back since. Drawn in by its soulful music, expressive movement, and barefoot connection to the earth, she found healing and strength in a practice that embraces all bodies, all ages, and all levels of ability. Despite dealing with plantar fasciitis and knee challenges, Nia’s joyful blend of dance, martial arts, and mindfulness allowed her to move with ease—and discover a deep well of courage and vitality within.

Certified in the White Belt (Art of Sensation) and Green Belt (Art of Teaching), Mona Lisa has also completed specialty training in the 5 Stages of Healing and Floorplay. She is passionate about helping others feel empowered, embodied, and alive through movement. Her classes invite you to let go, tune in, and dance your way to wellness. She can’t wait to share the magic of Nia with you on the retreat dance floor!

We are pleased to have Leah Rolston of Hart and Glory Design joining us for the
“A Gathering of the Healing Arts in the Country” Retreat on Sept 14/25 from 12 noon - 6 pm. She is our master in making Mala Bracelets.

Leah is a Leduc local and is the maker at Hart & Glory Design Co. where she creates gemstone bracelet stacks and repurposes vintage jewelry into new and unique pieces.

When she is not busy stringing bracelets, she is working full-time, cruising thrift stores for treasures, enjoying exercise where she can and most importantly - mothering two very busy little boys!

Meet our next cohost Kathy Schneider of our “A Gathering of of the Healing Arts in the Country” Retreat on Sept 14/25.

Kathy Schneider is a certified Yoga Teacher and an accredited Sound Practitioner. She has been actively involved in fitness for over 30 years rounding her various activities with Yoga. She has taught Yoga around the Edmonton area for the past 11 years. In addition, has previously guided Yoga classes in Varadero, Cuba and taught on a River Cruise in Portugal. Her national certifications involve a 200 hour RYT Yoga Alliance with over 100 hours of additional training in Yin, Diagnostic Posturing, PreNatal, Restorative, Skillful Movement, Trauma Informed and QiChong. Kathy can offer a variety of Yoga classes: Flow, Vinyasa, Power, Hatha, Gentle, Yin, Chair, Restorative and Kundalini. Classes focus on prana, strength and flow promoting a connection between movement and breath. Practice is suitable for all levels with modifications to enhance the practice. Kathy would love to see you on the mat.🙏💕
