Sensei’s passion for coaching reaches far beyond the walls of our dojo. Through camps, tournaments, seminars and years of dedication to the sport, he has helped inspire and support athletes from across the country.

During this coach’s week we must take the opportunity to recognize and show appreciation for Sensei Ashtin Callaghan.

As a coach your success or failure sometimes rests with your passion for your sport and team. Sensei Ashtin’s passion for karate and RHKA are hard to match. She brings her all in every class, for every individual student.

Broadening her horizons and now working with committee’s both at the Provincial and National level, RHKA benefits from such a progressive coach and advocate for standards in our sport.

A huge thank you to Senpai Jocelyn Fennell for everything she brings to our dojo!

As the leader of our Lil Ninjas program, Jocelyn helps our youngest athletes build confidence, learn new skills and discover their love of karate. She is also a friend to every new athlete who walks through our doors, always making them feel welcomed, supported and part of the RHKA family.

Team RHKA has officially arrived in Guadalajara! 🇲🇽🥋

Four athletes. One team. One incredible opportunity.

Fyodor Joe, Asher Hyatt, Chase Hobson and Tamiris McNern are with Sensei Rodney Hobson in Mexico and ready to represent RHKA and Canada 🇨🇦 at the Karate 1 Youth League Guadalajara 2026!

Months of training, early mornings, hard rounds, wins, losses and lessons have brought them here. Now it’s time to step onto the international stage and see what they can do. 💪

We’re incredibly proud of this crew already. Now go have fun, fight hard and make some memories! ❤️🥋🇨🇦

A quick reminder to our RHKA families that there will be NO CLASSES on Monday, September 7 for the Labour Day statutory holiday.

Enjoy the long weekend, spend some time with family and friends, and we’ll see everyone back on the mats when regular classes resume Tuesday!
