From Mar 31-April 5th the National Champs and Spring Series were held at and our athletes made WVSC proud!
Our FIS athletes proved to be a force to be reckoned with claiming many top 10s as well as multiple U19 podiums against some of the fastest skiers on this continent🔥

Massive thank you to all of our Windermere Valley volunteers, coaches, parents, and all teams present for helping make this week happen🙏🏼

Teck Kootenay Zone Finals⛷️🔥

Electric vibes, great competition, and pure Kootenay passion powering every run—Whitewater, you never disappoint❄️

Our U14s and U16s showed up with true Team Windy pride racing fast and cheering each other on to Zone Final PBs and even a 1st place from skier Finley White🥇

Huge shoutout to and Whitewater Ski Resort for putting together such a smooth, top-notch event.

Thank you to our coaches, parents, and volunteers whose heart and hustle make these events possible—you’re the backbone of it all.

U16 athlete Garrett Christie found himself on the podium in 2/3 disciplines during last week’s Western Championships earning him a place competing for team Canada at this years Whistler Cup! Garrett placed 1st🥇in the SL and 2nd🥈in Super G.

Windermere Valley Ski Club wishes Garrett all the best as he takes on the world stage that is Whistler Cup💪🏼 Ski fast!!

Last weekend our U14/U16 athletes showed up locked down 6 top 10 finishes in the Red Mountain Kootenay Zone race, including a wicked fast 1st place from U14 racer Finley White in both disciplines and a 3rd from athlete Georgia Comb! Way to go girls🔥

Last Saturday and Sunday the FIS team wrapped up the Sun Peaks BC Cup with some strong finishes on both the men’s and women’s courses. Stay tuned for more official team Windy results coming soon!

2 days down in Sun Peaks for our FIS team and GS has been treating them well! Athletes David Zivot and Elena Deda both locked down 1st place with Carter Christensen also finding the podium the first time this season yesterday placing 3rd.
