What a day at Nationals. 🇨🇦
So proud of our Team Hankook who stepped on the mat, the parents who supported us endlessly, our teammates, and everyone who cheered us on — especially Team Alberta for all the cheer and support. 💙
6 athletes competed. 5 medals came home.
🥇 x1 | 🥈 x2 | 🥉 x2
But medals aside, this week was about growth, courage, and heart.
Angel – The champion returns.
After experiencing Nationals for the first time last year, Angel came back stronger and reclaimed the top spot in just one year. A scary competitor in the best way. 🥇
Audrey – No longer afraid.
She now loves sparring even more than poomsae. From bronze last year to silver this year — Audrey’s future is bright, and next year is already exciting. 🥇
Izacc – The definition of commitment.
A Grade 12 student with straight A’s, balancing an insanely busy schedule while still showing up for every team and individual training. He prepared, fought hard, and gave it everything he had. Proud of you, big guy.
Maddie – First Nationals, endless potential.
A heartbreaking loss(1point🥲), but for a first Nationals, Maddie showed so much promise. This is only the beginning.
Vanshika – The heart of our team.
Unfortunately eliminated in the prelims, but for her first major competition, we hope she learned and absorbed as much as possible. This experience will matter.
Matteo – The talkative warrior.
He may have said he joined because his sister was going😂, but he proved all our worries wrong by giving his absolute best. Let’s grow even more and come back stronger next year.💪
Early mornings, right after school, late evenings, even holidays — whenever i called, these athletes showed up without any excuse.
They made every minute of training worth it with their results and effort.
I couldn’t be more proud of Team Hankook❤️
This team, these kids — truly something special.
