University of Alberta Rugby Club The UofA Men's Rugby Program Competes in multiple intercollegiate rugby competitions nations wide.

During the school year, the U of A Rugby Club offers opportunities for both students and non-students of all skill levels to be involved in the wonderful sport of rugby. This allows for exposure of self-improvement and a friendly, welcoming environment. In the regular season of play, we compete as a typical 15s squad against other Alberta universities such as U of C, Mount Royal, and U of L. We al

so put together a competitive team to play in 7s Rugby at various times when tournaments are held. Very recently, our club has been given the opportunities to attend all kinds of tournaments including the National University 7s Rugby Championship, the Hindson Cup, Jasper 7s, Banff 10s, and Trollsfest. This is all possible because of the dedication of our terrific members.

Please join us this Sunday October 20th, as the UofA Mens Rugby Program wraps up our regular season schedule with a double header against the MRU first & second squads. The First XV kick off at 1:00pm at Foote Field (11601 68 Ave). Admission is FREE for all UofA Students & Anyone Under 18. Otherwise admission is $10 cash only at the gate. Parking is available on site in the main foote field lot, or in the 2 government lots across the street from the main lot. We hope to see lots of the rugby community come to be part of an exciting day!

With a 4-1 record on the weekend, the U of A boys tied for a 5th place finish at the Las Vegas Invitational 7's! One disappointing loss kept us out of the top 4. Huge thanks to coaches Liam Mills and Milan Mrdjenovich for all the time they put into winter practices, travelling and coaching. We couldn't have done this without you.

Shout out to all players involved in our sevens program, those who trained all winter, those who represented us in Moose Jaw and the final team that travelled to Vegas. We showed massive progress as a 7's team this year and will look to carry this momentum into the summer and our fall 15's season.
