Today is the last day Sculpt Barre South will be in operation😢I teach my last class at noon... it is full but come after and cheers with us your favourite memory🍾
My passion was teaching a class. I would walk into my Happy Place no matter how I was feeling, plug in the music and give all my strength and energy to my class. To me that was the most rewarding.
So many memories of each client. I loved how everyone walked in with a smile on their face whether they wanted to be there or not. A quick chat before they would head into the studio. Class would start...the smile disappeared, no one would talk and the nasty facial expressions surfaced! What happened?😉 Pure concentration and determination that’s what you brought to class each time! The hugs, cries and opening your hearts to us is what I will value.

I have many memories about Sculpt Barre South! Building that space with my husband, kids, my cousin Sydney and many friends. So many 3am nights just to accomplish my dream(thanks Jarek and Shantel) The Theme Nights, Special Events, Childminding...watching those kids grow and their little hugs as they whisper, I love you Tracey! Clients achieving their goals while developing friendships and getting out of their comfort zone(especially date night)
Most importantly, my Staff! We definitely hands down have the BEST TEAM! Nothing but gratitude for each one of them💕Our laughs, talks, cries, nights on the town🙈and the bond we have. Simply we like being together. Thank you ladies! Jill I can never thank you enough for making my life so much easy!
If I learned anything from this experience, it would be that I won’t ever be ready for what life throws at me. I will gain strength and be stronger for what’s ahead. I am not done yet😉🤫follow me

Well, we've come to the end of an amazing journey. I'm so grateful for ALL the beautiful barre stars that graced me with their presence, I'm so privileged to have met you all! Actually, it's because of you that I'm the barretender I am today. You were patient and encouraging as I struggled through my pilots and those brutal first classes, and it gave me the confidence to rock out with my....grip socks out lol! I have too many amazing memories, my current fave is the mutiny in Sculpt + that occurred 2 Saturdays ago. It was a terrible ab sequence, you were right to protest! You guys have no idea how happy it makes me to be able to spend that hour with you, what the heck am I gonna do with my Saturday mornings now?! All jokes aside, I have nothing but love for all my barre stars and my amazing barretender fam. I will miss you all so much, but as the saying goes; when one door closes, another one opens. This is just 'see you later' barre babes, I know we'll meet again! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What did you enjoy most about teaching?
I love that no matter what is going on in life, I am able to put it aside for that hour and give all of my energy to everyone in that studio. It’s so refreshing to be with a group of people working towards one common goal of bettering themselves. •••
Favourite memory of the clients?
Watching clients push themselves to new limits and realizing what they are capable of. I love having clients walk up to me after class to share their achievements, whether it be getting through a tough move without stopping or getting further into a stretch then they ever have before. The “resting barre faces” I get on the daily would have to be a close second! •••
Favourite memory about Sculpt Barre South?
The community. The energy. The people. I will forever cherish all of the friendships I have made because of this beautiful space. •••
Final words?
To all of our amazing clients, thank you for coming into our lives and being a part of this journey. Thank you for brightening my days when you walk through the doors. And thank you for working so hard in every single class. I am so grateful for this Sculpt Fam of ours 🖤 Stay in touch

BARRETENDER MEMORY

Favorite thing about clients?

The body transformation and the progression of flexibility and strength showed by many of the clients. Seeing them get their leg up on the barre for the first time and how impressed they are with themselves for achieving this goal.

Favorite thing about teaching?

When you walk up to a client to correct their alignment and they correct it before you get them. Also that moment when a client feels the burn in an exercise, and they hold on, shake and finish the move. Last but not least the delicate balance of planning a class, lining up moves for challenge vs success and wrapping them all into one.

Favorite memory of Sculpt Barre South?

Friendships and the people I have met through working here, many of those people I would have never met if it wasn’t for this place!

Fave thing about teaching?
For me, every single class was like a puzzle: clients, music, moves, sequences... I’d know when I had a perfect combination as soon as those legs started to shake! Cue the dirty looks. 😘

Fave memory of a client?
Soooo many! I’ll always remember the smiles coming through the door in my 6am classes, even in the dead of winter — Karen, Leslie, Brenda P., Janelle, Brenda N. and Elizabeth you guys nailed it. Every. Single. Time.
I’ll also miss Krysta bobbing, dancing and shaking along to my playlists.
Lindsay’s acceptance of her late charges — girl unapologetically owned them....all of them!
Most of all getting to be a part of your lives for a few hours a week and watching your transformations from strong ladies to even stronger Barrestars.
Favourite memory about Sculpt Barre South?
All of our parties and themed classes, everyone knows how seriously Natasha and I take our themes...literally any excuse to dress up and make another playlist. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Final words?

What I love most about teaching is seeing clients challenge themselves and grow and the smiles on their faces when they realize they achieved it. I also love all the groans and dirty looks when I say slow it down. I hear all the swearing and I use it as motivation.
My favourite memories are really the friendships that grew with clients. That and trying to get a perfect boomerang and it taking a lot of giggles and about a thousand tries.
Favourite memory at Sculpt Barre South is all of them! My squad and the barre babes and the laughter and tears and champagne and silly outfits. I can't choose just one.
Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end (10 cool points if you know what song this is from). I own too many pairs of leggings and sparkle socks for this to be goodbye. This a see you later, lovelies. You can't get rid of me that easily.

What you enjoyed most about teaching?
Life moves so fast and I always have a million things on my mind, teaching forces me to be in the moment, with my clients, challenging them, it's such an amazing feeling! It's the highlight of my day.

Favourite memory of a client or the clients?
There have been a few clients where I've taught them their first class and then their hundredth class! Seeing that progress is the best!

Favourite memory about Sculpt Barre South?
Just all of it💕
