The Judy Seddon Memorial Award was created to celebrate Judy’s incredible 35-year contribution to the Alberta rugby community. Affectionately known as "Rugby Mom," Judy was a tireless volunteer and a vital pioneer who played with the Edmonton Coven Women’s Rugby Club during the initial surge of the women's game in the province. Over four decades, she served as the backbone of the community, taking on roles such as registrar, website manager, and fundraising chair for the Edmonton Rugby Union and various projects for Rugby Alberta and Rugby Canada. Her unwavering dedication was recognized with an induction into the Edmonton Rugby Union Hall of Fame, the 2017 Rugby Canada Volunteer of the Year award, and the 2018 Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers.

📅 Tryout 2 | Friday June 5 7:00-9:00 pm @ location TBC

⏰ Please arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to get checked in
💵 $10 Tryout fee, please bring cash to the tryout
🎒 Bring water bottle, cleats, mouthguard
