Dear Students,

I hope you had a great summer and are fully rested. André's Budo Centre has been reopened since July 2nd. There are classes Monday through Friday in the morning at 9:00 and 10:30 am (upon request), and in the afternoon/evening at 4;45, and 6:00 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday at the dojo at 7:30 pm. There are also karate classes on Zoom Monday and Wednesday at 7:30 pm (Zoom code: 875 2659 9618, password 261462). On Saturday, classes are at 9:00 and 10:30 am, and at 1:00 pm. All classes will be 1:15 minutes long. Class times may be added or reduced based on the level of participation. A reminder also, that I do not teach a child or a youth alone, unless he/she is with an adult. The maximum limit of students allowed to train per class is 20. That is a city bylaw, not a Covid restrictions.

Also, let me know the night before if you are to attend any karate classes and 1 hour prior to the class. Bring a safety mask. The Covid safety protocols are still in place at the karate studio. If you are experiencing ANY Covid symptoms, stay home. Most of the students at ABC have been vaccinated, with the exception of children under 12.

I look forward to see you again at the dojo. If there are any changes, you will be informed.

Now, in regards to the after-school karate program at Écoles Notre-Dame, Sainte-Jeanne-D'Arc, Gabrielle Roy and Msgr. William Irwin; right now, because of Covid restrictions, no after-school programs are allowed to take place. The school principals informed me that they are waiting for their school boards' authorization. So, at least not until October. Do not hesitate to come and train at the dojo until I am allowed to teach back in the schools.

Our Yudansha class for September will be on Saturday, September 25th, from 14:30 to 16:30. Brown belts and up are allowed.
