Zorianka Ukrainian Dancers

The Zorianka Ukrainian Dancers group began in 1977 under the name of Holy Cross Dancers and from its inception has developed into a group of young, vibrant individuals who promote our Ukrainian culture. The Zorianka Ukrainian Dancers are a self-governing, non-profit society dedicated to the preservation of Ukrainian culture through the development of Ukrainian folk dances. Our dance school is comp

rised of 6 different groups of dancers ages 3 and up. Zorianka's program of activities enriches each dancer culturally, musically, physically and socially in all aspects of Ukrainian folk art. Each dancer, beginning with our Jr.Zirka up to our Razom receive a balanced teaching of ballet, technique and discipline thus not only progressing in skill and confidence but also in strength, commitment and dedication. Our Adult and Adult Exercise groups, just as all our groups, are open to all of Ukrainian or non-Ukrainian background, experienced or not in Ukrainian dance. The group is run by a dedicated group of parents and volunteers who are committed in keeping a sense of culture, community and fellowship. They are the backbone of this organization and they continue to effortlessly contribute their time, talents and friendships to this dance group.
