📸 NEW THIS YEAR!📸

We want to see all the amazing things our Bruins teams are doing! 🏒🐻

This year, we’ve created QR codes linked to Dropbox folders where families can easily upload their favourite pictures and videos from games, practices, tournaments, team events and everything in between!

📲 Each QR code is organized by age category, making it easy to scan and upload your photos to the correct group.

These photos and videos will help our social media volunteers capture and share all the great moments happening across Millwoods Hockey because we know there’s a LOT happening out there! 💙🖤

And don’t forget… please keep posting on your team’s Instagram pages too!🙌 We’ll continue to follow and share photos and videos from your team pages as well.

So snap those pics, capture those big moments and scan, upload and share!📸🏒

We’re definitely missing being at the BBQ and all the fun Millwoods Hockey events! There’s nothing quite like seeing our Bruins family together, laughing, cheering and making memories. 🐻💙

Now it’s time for the next chapter, TRYOUTS & SKATES!🏒🔥

Wishing all of our players the very best of luck as evaluations and skates get underway. Remember to work hard, have fun, support your teammates and most importantly… enjoy being back on the ice!💙

💙🖤 A HUGE BRUINS THANK YOU TO OUR BBQ VENDORS!🖤💙

What a day! Our Millwoods Hockey BBQ was packed with food, fun, laughs and SO many amazing memories — and we couldn’t have made it happen without the incredible vendors and businesses who came out to support our Bruins family! 🐻🏒

We took a little summer break… but don’t worry, we weren’t gone forever. 😉
The sticks are coming out.
The skates are getting sharpened.
The parents are pretending they’re emotionally prepared. 😂
And after 40 YEARS (yes, it’s our 40th anniversary this year!) of Millwoods Hockey, we’re pretty sure this season is going to be a good one.

🏒 The Bruins are BACK.
Tryouts are just around the corner.
BBQ is THIS WEEKEND.

Our ANNUAL MILLWOODS HOCKEY BBQ is almost here, and we’re bringing the food, the fun, the games and just the right amount of chaos! 😂🐻💙

⏰ U11–U13: 1PM–3PM

# # # 🙋‍♀️ BUT HERE’S THE BIG ONE… WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

Millwoods Hockey doesn’t run on hockey sticks and pucks alone — it takes an army of awesome volunteers!💙

Whether you have 30 minutes, an hour, or can help with the whole event, we’d love to have you involved!

We need people to help with things like:
🌭BBQ & food
🥤 Serving drinks
🎪 Helping with activities
🏃 Keeping the obstacle course moving
🎨 Helping at stations
🧹 Set-up & clean-up
👋 Greeting families
…and basically whatever needs doing!

And don’t worry, no special skills required.😂
If you can smile, lend a hand and survive a room full of hockey kids, YOU QUALIFY.🫡

Volunteering is also a great way to meet other hockey families, get involved with the association and be part of what makes Millwoods Hockey such an awesome community. It also counts towards your association volunteer commitment! 💙

So come hang out, meet some new faces, cheer on the kids, eat some questionable amounts of BBQ food… and help us kick off another great season together!
