North Edmonton Wizards Lacrosse The Wizards are a minor lacrosse club based in North Edmonton, Alberta, fielding male and female box lacrosse teams for U7 to U17 divisions (ages 4-16 years).

The Wizards Lacrosse Club (WLC) is a registered non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to the growth, development, and sustainability of lacrosse in Edmonton and the surrounding communities of Northern Alberta.

🥍 And just like that, the U9 season has come to an end.

What an incredible way to wrap up the year! Our Wizards gave it everything they had this weekend, showcasing the skills, confidence, and teamwork they’ve developed all season long. From hustle plays and big defensive stops to cheering on teammates and never giving up, these players made us proud every step of the way.

The growth we’ve seen since April has been remarkable. More importantly, we’ve watched friendships form, confidence grow, and a love for lacrosse take root.

The scoreboard may not have gone our way against the Posse, but the U9 Wizards showed exactly what coaches, parents, and teammates love to see at the end of a season.

Every player left it all on the floor, demonstrating just how much they’ve grown throughout the season. We couldn’t be prouder of this group and the heart they showed in every shift.

What an incredible year it has been watching these young athletes learn new skills, build confidence, make friendships, and develop a love for the game of lacrosse. We couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve accomplished.

🏆🥇 GOLD MEDAL CHAMPIONS! 🥇🏆

What a weekend for the U15 Wizards! The U15 team battled their way through a tough field of competition and came home with GOLD at the Redneck Rumble Tournament in Strathmore, Alberta.

A huge congratulations to our players, coaches, and families for an outstanding tournament and for representing our club with pride both on and off the floor.
