To kickoff the new year we have decided to extend offers to any Goliath parents who have thought about personal training by giving them 10% off training sessions for the month of January. On top of that anyone interested in 2 on 1 training is also welcome to get in on 10% off training sessions for the month as well.

November Athlete Spotlight:

It’s time to shine the spotlight on our three incredible Vibe Volleyball athletes who’ve been making waves in our Goliath programming! Having recently celebrated their first year training under the Goliath banner, we are so excited to give them the shoutout they deserve!

Meet Alyssa Allers, Carys Kushnerik, and Sofie Pysar – a dynamic trio who’ve shown nothing but dedication, hard work, and an infectious positive attitude both on and off the court. Whether it’s pushing each other during training, showcasing their incredible personalities, or lifting up their teammates, these three embody what it means to be a true Goliath athlete.

We’re beyond proud of the energy and effort they bring to the program every day, and we can’t wait to see the amazing things they’ll accomplish in their volleyball journeys! 🏐✨

Coming Soon - Ladies Night Class!

We are very excited to announce that starting in October Goliath High Performance and will be partnering to offer an exclusive Ladies Night training class with new Goliath coach Julia Debert! These classes are for anyone 21 years and older and looking to take their next steps towards their health and fitness. All classes are suited to your ability whether you are a seasoned lifter or simply looking to start your fitness journey. At Goliath we focus on building strong and healthy athletes for life, and we can’t wait to be a part of your journey!

New Trainer Alert ‼️‼️

We are very excited to announce Julia Debert as the newest member of the Goliath High Performance team! After a very successful practicum experience Julia is officially a part of the team and available to book! Welcome Julia!!

My name is Julia Debert and I am a proud member of the Goliath High Performance team. I started with Goliath during my offsite practicum as a NAIT personal fitness trainer student and continued on working with the business after I graduated in May of 2024. My passion is with soccer but I have loved being able to work with a wide variety of clients, all on unique fitness journeys and different phases of life.

My slogan is “performance for now, performance forever” and I try to live by that every time I walk in the gym. Exercise supports longevity and I strive to do right by my clients no matter what their goals are or how they change over time.

September Athlete Spotlight:

Been a minute since we highlighted some of our incredible athletes so figured it’s about right that we kick off our monthly client spotlight with a Goliath favorite. Spencer Lukey has been a staple of our Goliath programming since joining us during his U17 club season, and has spent this entire off-season putting in the hours to get his body right for the upcoming varsity season.

Spencer has exemplified what we look for in a Goliath athlete, hardworking, consistent, and his infectious personality has made an impact on all trainers and athletes that he has worked with. We want to thank Spencer for all his dedication and consistency over the last few years and wish him the best as enters his first varsity season!

Introducing our University of Alberta practicum student, Alexis!

Alexis grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan and moved to Edmonton to continue her education. She comes from a volleyball background, playing club growing up and continuing now as a coach. She’s now in the final stretch of her Kinesiology degree, majoring in sport performance. Alexis has always been interested in working with athletes and is eager to learn more about strength and conditioning at Goliath. 💪🏻
