We offer classes in traditional Brazilian martial arts, dance, and music. Class passes are flexible, with single drop-ins, multi-class passes, monthly, and yearly passes available for purchase on Punchpass. Class Passes and Prices: https://app.punchpass.com/org/18121/classes

We ask that everyone 12 and over be fully vaccinated, and masking is optional. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home to rest and recover.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our batizado event today! We are thrilled to officially welcome Amazona, Dançarina, Comprida, Apressada, and Faisca to our capoeira community! You have earned your apelidos and first cordas through your hard work and dedication, and we are excited for your capoeira journey! We were grateful for the presence of special guests Professor and Professor for helping to elevate the energy and deepen our relationships. Tomorrow we will continue with a pandeiro workshop and another roda—see you there!

As a non-profit, Capoeira Academy relies on our bi-annual casino fundraiser. Our casino dates fall on April 23 and 24. Sign up here: https://signup.com/go/TLmuviq

If you have any questions about any of the shifts, please let us know.

1) When you sign up, please include your email address and cell phone number so that we can reach you.

2) If you sign up for both days, ensure you sign up for the same position both days (e.g., if you sign up for Banker on Apr 23, and wish to help the next day, you should sign up for Banker on Apr 24 also).

3) On the day of your shift, remember to bring photo ID! THANK YOU!
