Had the pleasure of fighting a 9 ft 7 inch white sturgeon solo (measurement nose to tail tip . 9 ft exactly from nose to tail fork ) - well of course I had the pups. A few km down river fight - well I drove the boat and reeled this monster in. Sadly can’t get great hero shots when it’s yourself and 2 dogs . I stuck a paddle in the mud and hooked my go pro to it and below was the best photo I could get. 3 or 4 jumps and being totally blown away at the size once landed - this is what keeps us fishing. (Although I don’t recommend fishing white sturgeon solo)
My buddy Kyle stevens came out for a small fish trip as well . Good company on the mighty Fraser river
