Bike Edmonton Downtown Community Workshop

Bike Edmonton operates two fully-equipped, volunteer-run, community bicycle workshops, formerly known as BikeWorks. Buy a bike or learn to fix it!

Bike Edmonton's Community Workshops are fully-equipped, volunteer-run community bike workshop. We have all the tools (including specialty bicycle tools) needed to repair and maintain your bicycle, and mechanics to teach you how to do it. We also have a vast selection of used and new parts and bicycles available for purchase.

The Bike Edmonton Downtown Workshop is a few blocks West of Boyle Street Community Services. We've been partnering with for decades to increase transportation capacity for the community. This summer volunteers are running a free bike tune up session every two weeks in the courtyard. Next session is Thursday, July 13th, 10am to 1pm.

Volunteers are fixing bikes for the Boyle Street Services community today, just 5 blocks from the Downtown shop. While people wait for their bikes to be tuned up, we're having a good chat about utilitarian riding in the city. Thank you volunteers, you're making a big difference in people's lives 💗
