Here’s another one of my HIIT workouts!

I’ve just amped up our intervals up to 60 seconds of work and 15 seconds of rest. 🔥🔥🔥
Although our dance season is basically cancelled until 2021, we’re still trying to stay on track with training! 💃🏽

I have 3 circuits here for you guys to try out! Each circuit has 3 exercises. Like I said above, intervals are 60 seconds on and 15 seconds off! The third circuit is the finisher circuit, and all 9 rounds are jump rope 😅

S K I N C A R E 🧖🏽‍♀️✨

I have NEVER had a skincare routine until NOW. I’m super excited to share with you guys that I’m an Ambassador for Athia!

Let me tell you a few things about my skincare “routine” I had before using . I would literally wash my face with water and moisturize. That’s it. Then I’d put on my daily makeup, which isn’t that much but I’d probably keep it on from early morning to late at night. Before I go to bed I’d use a makeup remover wipe and wash my face! For a while I’ve been thinking about starting a skincare routine to actually take care of my skin and make sure it recovers from daily exposure. I have been using my Athia products for a couple weeks now to make sure I absolutely LOVE them. And I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE THEMMMMM.

So far my faves are the Hyaluronic and Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer, Retinol Night Cream and the Exfoliating Probiotic Clay Cleanser. These products leave my skin feelin suuuuuuuper soft and hydrated! Totally recommend these ones!

HIIT WEDNESDAY 🔥🔥

Lately I’ve been focusing more on endurance and cardio for my personal workouts. Competition season starts in September (fingers crossed comps don’t get canceled again 🤞🏽)! So here’s a little look at what my workouts are looking like leading up to competition for conditioning 💃🏽

This circuit for sure KILLED ME but hey it’s one step closer to my goals 💪🏽

Circuits are 50 seconds of work with 15 seconds of rest. Complete the first 4 exercises, and then finish off the round with a 2 minute plank! AND THEN DO IT 3 TIMES 🥵🥵🥵

Happy Monday!

Get outside and enjoy that sunshine! We obviously can’t take this warm weather for granted since the weather has been kind of all over the place the past few weeks 🤪

I’ve got a BUSY week ahead so I might end up going into auto pilot mode when it really starts to get crazy. Weeks like these, I can really rely on scheduling and utilizing my agenda. When I need to get stuff done, and only have a certain amount of time to complete it, I ALWAYS write it down in my agenda. This helps me with accountability and organization!

For a while I used to do paper work/work from home on my “days off”, but THIS DID NOT WORK FOR ME. I’ve learnt that it never really felt like I got a day off when I did that. So now I schedule my entire day out, training sessions AND paper work. This way, I can actually relax on my days off and not have to worry about programming or social media.

CARDIOOOO

Lately I’ve been a fan of quick but effective workouts. I found that the longer the workout took, the more uninterested/motivated I became lol. You can say that maybe I’m a little “impatient” supports that last message 😂😂

For this circuit we’re working on our cardio and getting that heart rate up, so intervals are 50 seconds of work and 25 seconds of rest! And we are doing this circuit... 5 times 😈🔥🔥🔥

Happy Sunday (almost Monday) 🤪

I had a day off today, and let me tell you, I DID NOTHING. All I did was write out my schedule for next week, pre-enrolled in my fall course, and took some pictures all over my house in my new crop 🥰

WOOP GYM WORKOUT 😍

Here’s a full body kettlebell workout for you guys! You don’t HAVE to be at the gym to try this workout! You can still do this at home if you’ve got a kettlebell too 💪🏽

This circuit is timed!! Complete these exercises consecutively and then take a 2 minute rest once all 5 exercises are done! 3 rounds through 🔥🔥

Now that things are slowly going back to the way they were, we can’t forget about all the things we were taught the past few months.

With Covid telling us to slow down, and live in the present not the future. With BLM, fighting for equality and uniting. Believe me, I’m so excited to get back to reality, but the fight doesn’t stop now. BLM wasn’t a one week thing, we have to keep up with the momentum and keep the conversation alive. Covid will change the way we do things for the better, to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. We’ve all been through a lot the past few months, but it’s up to us to make sure we come out stronger.

I’ll keep learning, changing, and fighting for a safer, healthier and happier future 🤍

CORE 💚

Well, here we are! The sun is out and the gym is open on MONDAY! I can’t tell you how excited I am to get back into the studio crushing my clients goals with them 🤩

Although I will be back at the gym, I will keep up with posting at home workouts that you can all still do within the comfort of your own home. I may throw in an outdoor workout too, since it’s really starting to warm up in Edmonton! 😎

Here’s your core workout;
1️⃣ Hip Dips x 30 seconds
2️⃣ Opposition Toe Touches x 30 seconds
3️⃣ Side Reaches (Right and Left) x 30 seconds
4️⃣ Russian Twist Layouts x 30 seconds
5️⃣ Star Plank Hold x 30 seconds

Rest in between each exercises for 15 seconds and repeat this circuit 3 times 🔥

Don’t forget to like and save 💕 let me know how much your abs burn after this core workout!
