August is done, and so is another summer of beach volleyball on Alberta’s beaches.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this season possible: athletes, parents, volunteers, and staff. Thank you for being part of the beach community and helping the sport grow in Alberta.

From youth to adult tournaments and leagues all across the province (and beyond), this summer was packed with good times and good rallies.

See you back on the sand next summer!!!

👉Joe Coiffe (Zone 3) refereed throughout the tournament
👉Jeremy Gray (Zone 6) was the R1 for the 18U Boys Tier 1 gold medal match
👉Shawn Shepherd (Zone 6) was selected as part of the Referee Development Team for the youth medal matches

Try sitting volleyball for FREE this fall! The Dino Women's Volleyball Club is offering a sitting volleyball program designed to introduce participants to the sport in an inclusive and supportive environment

The program is completely free and open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, ability or volleyball experience. Able-bodied athletes and athletes with an impairment are all welcome!

Led by members of the Canadian Men’s and Women’s Sitting Volleyball Teams and Dinos Club coaches, participants will learn the fundamental skills of sitting volleyball and put them into action through game play.

👉 Tuesdays, September 8 to October 27
👉 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Two online Development Coach Workshops are coming up this September!

👉 Offering #1: Sept. 13, 17, 21 & 24
👉 Offering #2: Sept. 14, 16, 20 & 22

Each workshop costs $265 + GST and includes four mandatory live online sessions.

Registration opens Sept. 1 at 12 p.m. MT and closes Sept. 10 or once the workshop is full.

The Foundations of Volleyball eLearning Module is a prerequisite.
