Do you ever wonder why your kids want to quit something for no reason?

They are being challenged
They are having fun
They are learning new skills
The instructors are great

So what’s wrong? 🤔

This topic may get you a little uncomfortable, but it’s something every parent needs to hear.

Your 📱phone should only be up to record your kids hard work or achievements.

Now I don’t mean ALL THE TIME. I mean every once in a while. It’s important that you lead the way for them. Show interest in their Taekwondo class and you will see a change in their attitude. 🥋

Tell them one or two things you liked seeing and make it known you were watching. They love you and they want to be seen by you, if they want anyone in the world to be proud of them, it’s you! ❤️❤️

At K. H. Min Taekwondo Academy, we believe Taekwondo should be more than just keeping kids busy for a class.

Our goal is to help students build real skills, real confidence, and real discipline — in a positive and supportive environment.

We focus on proper technique, practical self-defense, respect, fitness, and personal growth. Every student is encouraged to challenge themselves, improve honestly, and earn their progress step by step.

We want our students to feel confident not because they were told they’re amazing, but because they’ve put in the work and truly developed their abilities.

Taekwondo should be fun — but it should also be meaningful.

👊 Wishing our K. H. MIN Taekwondo National Fight Team athletes the best of luck as they enter the ring from February 5-7th at the 2026 Canadian National Taekwondo Championships in Halifax, NS.

All of these athletes once round-faced, young white belt kids who came to learn an after school activity TURNED into fierce, respectful, disciplined, talented athletes.

As leaders of this academy, we couldn’t be more proud of them. 🥹
