We're very sad to announce the passing of an important member of the Edges Family, Anne Glowinski.
For those skaters who have been around for some time, you will likely remember her as the "Edges Grandma" for the Coaches Team during every year of the 24 Hour Game for the Matt Cook Foundation. She kept everyone fed and happy for the entirety of each game. She was also the one to stitch every name bar, date bar, patch and logo on both the player and coach jerseys. For those of you in our programs now, she was also the woman behind our iconic jackets, making each one by hand since Edges was created 30 years ago. She was as generous as she was talented, and while she was Tammy's mom, we were all lucky to get to share a little part of her too. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
Thank you to everyone for your patience as the Coley and Glowinski families have been navigating this loss. For those who knew Anne and would like to make a tribute in her name, donations can be made to , which was very near to her heart. A celebration of life is also being held Friday, October 30 at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral home.
