ly 1980s but an organization that has seen its fair share of struggle over the past two decades. As the team strives to once again win the Stanley Cup, we look forward to more celebrations and remember the past. Not everything discussed on this page will be a glowing review of the team and their decisions but every comment, opinion, discussion and debate will be offered with the utmost respect for one of the most glorified teams in the NHL and because the admins of this page have a passion for the team. The city of Edmonton has been lucky to have players like Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl be part of this franchise. This page is for Oilers fans, by Oilers fans but we ask that you follow a few simple rules:

Sounds like Kostin wasn't going to sign with the Oilers and Yamamoto was about to be a buyout. This is the best result out of a bad cap situation.

The Edmonton Oilers have traded Kailer Yamamoto and Klim Kostin to the Detroit Red Wings for future considerations in cap space deal.
