It is so incredible how many people texted, posted on facebook, private messaged with suggestions and help to get us back up and running when we had trouble last weekend and were stuck on the hiway on our way to SIR.
Our old freightliner motor home has never had any issues before, and we have been all over Canada and tge US with it since we built it in 2007. It ended up being a bad ground in the ECM wiring harness and thankfully we found an honest H-D mechanic from Loyd. that dropped a few things to get out to us. Babba's H-D mechanical came out in the rain and jumped under the truck and started working on the ECM wiring to find a problems with the harness because everyone else was looking for a new ECM.
Thanks to Bubba and all our friends for the help, suggestions. Very much appreciated.
One good thing I tell people is, I am glad we have a big truck, because you can call a mechanic to come out to repair it instead of waiting for a tow truck to haul yourc1 ton to a dealer and wait until they decided to help sometime next week. Kim and I love you all.

If you don't use them at my age, maybe its time to sell them. Sold 2 and now the 83 flhs is up for sale. Very nice low mile bike. Got more miles on my snowmobiles last year than my bikes this year. Racing and renovations might of had something to do with it? Don't ask.....the Sturgis is not for sale at this time.

I just want to apologize to anyone that came to see me and talk. We had a rookie crew.....including Kim and I. We have forgotten so much that we had to go over everything we did and that took some time. Sorry if we didn't get to talk. It was so busy and so many people I haven't seen in years. It was a great race. Glad we made it to be a part of the 60th. Thanks to all the absolute best fans us racers could ask for. Hope to be back next year unless,I sell the bike and retire! Cheers to you all.

We would like to thank Redline Harley Davidson and R&L Motorcycles of Saskatoon for helping us get to the SIR 60th Anniversary. We were so glad to of been a part of it thanks to them. Please support them when you can.

Here is the first pass when we spun the tire just over a second into the run. I was off for a couple seconds trying to get straightened out then I got back on the throttle for the fans and still ran 197mph.

Made a run against our buddy Cal Tebb in his beautiful Moonshine W***y pro mod! We both had some trouble with spinning the tires. Cal took a bit long to get to the line, or I was to quick getting up there, but my helmet got full of nitro fumes while I was waiting and I had a real hard time seeing and breathing. It caused me to go to the center out of the groove and I spun the tire putting out a cylinder. I got off the throttle and back on to re-light the cylinder but it hurt the pass but I did take the win.
Had a lot of fun and the crowd seemed to like it. It was a great turn out! Lots of people.
