It’s timeeeeee 🙌🏼⏱️

Weekend one is almost here, tip off for our first games is tomorrow at 4pm and we can’t wait to see you all!

We’re stocked up with some new merch, new styles and colours coming at ya this year! Make sure you come prepared for that and remind your parents and other spectators that they’ll need to pick up a tournament or day pass from us at the door if they want to be part of the action!

The wait is over. The 2026 Rocky Mountain Hoops Spring Series officially tips off April 10–12 in Edmonton, and the energy is already at a peak!

We’re starting the season strong with four high-octane divisions:
🏀 U15 Boys & Girls
🏀 U17 Boys & Girls

🚨 THE PREMIER DIVISION (U17)
We are taking the U17 bracket to the next level. Back again, our Premier Division is designed for the highest caliber of competition.

This division is specifically open to:
✅ Teams with players born in 2008.
✅ Squads featuring overage players.
✅ High-performance athletes looking to test their limits against the best in the province.

If your team is looking for a “no-excuses” environment where the speed is faster and the stakes are higher, the Premier Division is where you belong.

Okay okay… we know camp is over, but it’s going to take us a while to stop reminiscing!

Every year, our athletes compete in a number of different competitions throughout the week. We look for a boy and girl winner in each of our University (younger athletes) and Pro (older athletes) leagues.

Shout out to all of our competition winners this year AND a big congrats to all the winners of our draw prizes! Our grand prize winner scored himself two courtside seats and some merch courtesy of our friends the ! 🐝

And with that, the 2025 RMH season comes to a close!

We had an amazing year watching so many talented athletes compete, learn, grow, laugh and smile. We are so grateful for this game and the community that comes with it! 🏀

Today’s feature coach is another returner we are so thrilled to have back on our staff - Coach Haily Weaver!

Haily is a alumni, where they were 2x City Champions and 1x Provincial champs which came at the end of an undefeated season in Haily’s senior year. Hails also played for Team Alberta for two years before heading off to post secondary pursuits. Haily played for to start before finishing their usport career at

Last season, Haily was signed to played professionally in Portugal 🇵🇹 with @ and they will be returning for a second season with the in the fall.

We are so grateful to have Haily home for the summer to influence our young athletes and demonstrate what it takes to make it to this level. Thanks for always being an inspiration to us all, Coach Haily!

We’re back in the gym today so it’s time to feature another coach - meet Jakin Niyongabo! If you’ve been in our stories this week, you may recognize him from his devastating “On the Dock/In the Water” loss yesterday 🤣🤣

Jakin was a pivotal part of the Senior Men’s team wining a City Championship and making a strong push at Provincials in his Grade 12 year

Following Grade 12, Jakin played a year with and is now heading to in the fall to join the Thunder!

Thanks for returning for another year with us, Coach Jakin!
