Never underestimate the power of an aid station volunteer. ❤️

A friendly face.
A refill when you need it.
A few encouraging words when your legs are reconsidering the entire situation.

Behind every great trail race is a crew of people giving their time to help runners get to that finish line.

The finish line is calling, and nothing’s stopping you now!

The legs are tired, the trails have taken their toll, but that finish line makes it all worth it.

We're grateful to partner with Startline in our events. Besides recording official times, they play a crucial role in assisting us in tracking runners' progress throughout the course, which is essential for the safety of all athletes 🙏

A big shoutout to Mosaic Forest Management for opening the gates and letting us roll through the forest for this year's Devil’s Ladder Ultra 🙏

Thanks for backing local trail stewardship and helping us get hundreds of dirty, grinning runners out into the woods!

7:03am - The moment after hundreds of runners head onto the course and you trust that every sign, arrow, and flagging tape is still in place because there's not much that can be done now! 🚂 ... 🏢

Hats off to our course team for flagging over 50km worth of trail 🙌

Devil's Ladder Ultra is a special day for us, and we want to thank you for joining us 🙏 We appreciate all of the feedback we have received; you have been so generous!

In a completely unplanned and rare moment, nearly all of our Organization Team were in the same place at the same time. Sadly, Dan and Colleen were busy doing actual work in another location and didn't make the photo 😢

We hope you mark July 10, 2027 on your calendar 🗓️

Devil's Ladder Ultra photos are now live!

I had a blast chasing runners around this rugged and vast course in the Cumberland community forest last weekend. Stoked to have hit upper Queso for the 50km runners, with some break in the clouds too. As well as some of the Trent River Canyon trail, but legs were definitely feeling it after this shoot!

Happy to have captured a bunch of emotion. This race is a great one.
