The Champions Cup is the Cranbrook BlackWolves House League tournament that wraps up each season. During their first year playing Lacrosse, players are assigned into one of three house league teams (Flaming Crosses, Wolfpack and Warriors) and they return to play with that same team every year that follows.

Depending on your team, instead of our classic orange and black, you may find yourself head to toe in red, blue or yellow.

The big question is: Which team is taking the cup this season?

🏆 WHAT A WEEKEND 🏆

The Blackwolves were on fire across Alberta this past weekend, bringing home hardware at every age group!

U17 Blackwolves were the gold medal champs in the U17A division at the Titans Classic! 🏆🥍

An incredible accomplishment and a weekend they’ll never forget!

U15 Blackwolves went undefeated all the way to the Gold Medal Game, earning a hard-fought silver medal finish.

U13 Blackwolves Black took home bronze 🥉at the Rockyview Tournament.

And both U11 teams came home with medals, Blackwolves Orange grabbing bronze and Blackwolves Black taking the gold 🥇

From our youngest players to our oldest, the Blackwolves showed determination, teamwork, sportsmanship, and heart all weekend long.

Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, managers, volunteers, and families who helped make this an unforgettable tournament weekend.

🏆OVERTIME THRILLERS & MEDAL WINNERS🏆

First travel tournament in the books — and what a weekend it was for the Cranbrook Blackwolves! 🖤🧡

Our teams battled hard, represented Cranbrook proudly, and brought home some serious hardware:

🥉 U13 Orange — Bronze Medal Winners
🥈 U15 Girls — Silver Medalists after the MOST intense game!… 4 overtimes and a shootout!
🥈 U15 Co-Ed — Silver Medalists with an overtime shootout battle
🥇 U17 — GOLD MEDAL CHAMPIONS!

So proud of every player, coach, and family who gave it their all this weekend. The grit, teamwork, heart, and determination on display was incredible to watch.

Huge shout out to all of the other Blackwolves teams that battled hard all weekend long — every team represented the pack proudly! 🐺🔥

The future is bright for the Blackwolves
