We had an awesome day for a shotgun at with over 100 competitors in 6 different flights. We’d like to thank the course for giving us the opportunity to have a weekend shotgun and their lovely hospitality!

The wind proved to be the biggest battle for most players, but we emerged with 6 winners. Congratulations to all of today’s flight winners:

An amazing weekend with amazing people at the always fun Resort. 2025-26 Presidents Cup is in the books with another super close year, coming right down to the last match!

Team Green led after Day 1 8.5 to 7.5. Team Blue obviously took exception to that, and came out to play on Day 2, coming from behind to win 17-15! Hard fought battle by both teams.

Making these teams takes serious commitment throughout the season, finishing in the Top 32 (that’s the Top 10%!) in Order of Merit for the entire Tour! Congratulations to everyone who played this weekend, you earned it!!

Next up, we have 2 full 110+ person events next weekend… Saturday in Red Deer at River Bend, and Sunday at Olds. Hope to see you there!

The 2025-26 Presidents Cup Teams have been picked!!

Chris Nelson won Order of Merit for the 2nd season in a row in 2025, and will be captaining Team Blue.

Cameron Gardner snagged 2nd place in Order of Merit, and will be captaining Team Green.

Both gentlemen are captaining for the second time in their AGT careers.

And the 2026 season has officially begun! We were so excited to host 92 players (and many of their families) out at Copper Point this weekend. The weather was fantastic on the warmer side of the Rockies and the course was in amazing shape as usual! Big thank you to staff for helping us pull this off so early in the season.

Some great golf was had this weekend and we crown our first Major winners of the summer after 2 rounds of Stableford. Congratulations to all the winners:

Suuuuper pumped to share this news with y’all. As you know, the field sizes on the Tour have exploded, and as much as Leah is capable of being a one-woman show, it leaves her too busy to deal with on-course things like PACE OF PLAY.

We are so excited to announce that this year, we are so lucky to have the help of PGA of Canada Class A Professional, Mike Nutt, helping us at the events this year!

Leah first met Mike in 2019, when he got a tattoo of Tiger Woods winning the Masters on his calf, and she awkwardly needed to take a picture with it. Since then, he has become a part of the family. Mike comes to us most recently as the Head Professional of Kananaskis Country Golf Course, and has also worked at the beautiful Jasper Park Lodge.

We are SO lucky to have his people skills and golf expertise on board. (Plus, he’s way nicer than Leah when it comes to pace)

Please give Mike a big AGT Welcome and make sure you all introduce yourselves when you see him at the events!

Happy International Women’s Day from the Prez!!

As a female-run company in a male-dominated space, we always like to acknowledge our roots on this day, and the ever-growing tribe of women we’ve come to know and love through golf.

From day one, the Alberta Golf Tour was never designed to be a ladies-only space, and it never will be. We don’t even run women’s-only flights, because we believe it’s important that we can all exist together, as friends and as competitors, in this amazing game. And that’s part of what makes the atmosphere so special around here.

One of the things we love most about our Tour is the culture. The men who play with us are welcoming, just as eager to kick our asses as we are to kick theirs, and they sure respect it (and cheer us on) when we do.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women who are part of this community. 💜

We were waiting for some groups to finish, who were eventually found almost in the dark, on the 17th hole, waiting on trespassers who decided to play on the green they were waiting to approach, not realizing they were not part of our group. You can’t make this up.

Good thing we had fun waiting for them, though! Vibes are always high with this group.
