Confidence on the course doesn't happen by accident, sometimes it just takes the right day of instruction. One of our golfers, Taylor, shared her experience after taking part in our Ladies Beginner Camp earlier this year: proper etiquette, chipping, putting, and a full day of hands-on coaching, plus lunch at Jack Sam's to wrap it up.

Her advice for anyone on the fence: golf is a lot more fun once you've got the fundamentals down.

September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We pause today to honor the survivors of residential schools, to remember the children who never made it home, and to reflect on the ongoing work of reconciliation with Secwépemc and Indigenous communities across this land.

Talking Rock Golf Course sits within Skwlāx te Secwepemcúl̓ecw territory, and our team carries that responsibility with us every day, not just today.

Every Child Matters.

This is what practice looks like at Talking Rock. Mountains as the backdrop, room to work on your swing, and a course waiting just beyond the range.

It's another reason golfers have us at the top of their must-play list.

They say over 60% of all strokes in a round of golf happen within 100 yards of the green. That's why working on your short game is one of the best ways to lower your handicap.

Talking Rock Golf Course boasts great practice facilities and offers short game lessons if you're in need of some extra help.

Some courses are just fairways and greens.

This one's got main character energy in every detail.

Mark your calendars. Talking Rock Golf Course will be closed September 21st and 22nd for aeration.

It's necessary maintenance that keeps the greens healthy and playing at their best all season, so a couple of quiet days now means better rounds ahead. We'll see you back on the course once it's done.
