One final Note from the weekend - special thanks to all of our volunteers over this past weekend.
It truly takes a village, and when the usual people couldn’t all be together for this one, because of family commitments, it’s an all hands on deck affair. It’s great when others come forward to provide that extra helping hand.
I’m calling them out today. volunteers are the lifeblood of making shows work!
Thank you Dawn Mackinley (scribe), Dawn Helm (sat announcer), Martha Mellish (set up day), Amanda Straight (photog), and of course Stéphane Fournier (for absolutely everything else: ring crew lead, announcer on Sunday, a little Compete Easy, voting set up, and sign putter-upper).
Thanks to Irene Guenzel (RIDERS) and Julie Léger (Dressage New Brunswick) who helped troubleshoot Compete Easy with Reba, when it needed wrangling.

the weekend would not have run without two of our board members (who also showed this weekend!) thanks Reba and Kerry.

What a fantastic weekend for Dressage PEI! 🐴✨

Riders from PEI, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick came together for our EC Gold/Bronze show in Crapaud, competing from Intro all the way to Inter I, along with Western Dressage classes. It was wonderful to see so many riders working toward their goals, supporting one another, and showcasing outstanding horsemanship and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.

The smiles, encouragement, and positive atmosphere made this event truly special. Congratulations to all our competitors on their accomplishments and thank you to our many sponsors who made it possible

📅 Our final Intro Show of the season is September 12 and is already 65% full.

What a fantastic first day at the Dressage PEI Summer Show! We saw so many great rides, with plenty of skill, talent, and sportsmanship on display throughout the day. 🐴❤️

The award is open to any DPEI member who has demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship at any point this season. We’ve already received more than a dozen nominations; it has been incredibly inspiring to hear all the ways our members are showing up with positive attitudes, supporting one another, and making a lasting impact on our sport. ❤️
