Silvertip Resort is found on the sunny side of the Bow Valley, in a mountain wilderness setting near the alpine village of Canmore. Located 96 kilometres (approximately 50 minutes) west of Calgary and at the entrance to Banff National Park, the region offers spectacular views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains, and stands at the edge of an immense, untouched wilderness reserve. Silvertip Resort’s 600 acres of peaks, grasslands and valleys are perched on the benchlands of Mount Lady MacDonald and are drenched in warmth and sunshine: it is the only resort in the entire region on the south-facing side of the mountains. This means long, warm days on the links or sitting on the clubhouse deck.

Silvertip Gondola – Public Notice

Stone Creek Resorts has submitted an application to the Government of Alberta's Department of Tourism and Sport for the proposed Silvertip Gondola.

The Government of Alberta will accept public comments on the application during the 30-day public notice period from October 27 to November 26, 2026.

Comments received during this period will be considered as part of the Department's review and decision on the application.
