What a weekend to close out our competition season.

Huge thank you to for an amazing event and such a strong final weekend of the season.

Congratulations to all the dancers and studios who shared the floor with us. The energy, talent, and support throughout the weekend was incredible.

LEAP STUDIOS 2026/27 SEASON IS HERE.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN.

Every season, we ask the same question — how do we create better dancers, not just busier ones?

This year is our answer.

More structure. More intention. More growth.

We’ve expanded our Dance Teams with both full-time and part-time pathways, so dancers can train at a level that actually matches their goals. More styles are being added across the board, giving dancers the chance to build real versatility instead of staying in one lane.

But more importantly, we’re doubling down on what matters most — progressive training and real development.

Not just learning routines.
Not just chasing competitions.
But building foundation, understanding, and confidence that carries beyond the stage.

From first steps to advanced training, every dancer now has a clear pathway forward.

International Dance Day - April 29, 2026
Today, we celebrate dance as a global language - one that connects cultures, communities, and generations.

This year feels especially meaningful for us at Leap.

Our official 2026 membership renewal from the International Dance Council (CID), UNESCO arrived in the mail today - marking another year that Leap Studios, alongside Ziad and myself, are recognized members of a worldwide network committed to the advancement and dance.

For us, this isn’t about a title.

It’s about accountability.

It’s about choosing to hold our work - our teaching, our standards, our impact - up against a global lens.
To stay connected to a broader conversation about what safe, ethical, and progressive dance education looks like - not just locally, but worldwide. It’s also importantly about contributing to the advancement of dance while also honouring it’s responsibility- the preservation of culture, the protection of educational integrity, and the safeguarding of the student experience.

International Dance Day, initiated by the International Dance Council CID, is a reminder that what we do in our classrooms matters beyond our walls.

Every class.
Every correction.
Every opportunity to guide a young dancer.

We are not just teaching steps - we are contributing to a global ecosystem of dance education and awareness.

And that responsibility is something we take seriously.

At Leap Studios Summer Camps, kids don’t just stay busy — they learn, create, and build real confidence while making new friends in a supportive environment.

We offer 3 unique camp experiences, so every child can find their lane:

Stage Stars – explore multiple dance styles like jazz, ballet, and more while building strong performance skills.

Acro Circus – focused on acrobatics, tricks, strength, and flexibility with a fun, high-energy twist.

Hip Hop Hooray – a full hip hop experience, from dance foundations to DJing and graffiti.

Whether it’s their first time dancing or they already love to move, every camper leaves with new skills, friendships, and confidence that carries beyond the studio.
