Draft party
Being a part of a community. A family of incredible people from all over the world, who love hockey. Here is how a typical tourney would go if you can imagine. Step 1 - Get to the Draft Party on Friday
At the party the goalies will draw
the name of their team out of a hat, in previous years it could have been Montreal or Boston or Detroit and so on. The goalies then do a "beverage" race, the order they finish it in is the order they draft in the first round. Step 2 - Get Drafted and Draft Your Teammates
Once you have been selected onto a team you get to do a "beverage" race with the other draftees who were in your round, the order you finish your "beverage" in is the order your team will draft in the next round
Step 3 - Boat Race for your Schedule
This one is pretty self explanatory, your team finishes first you get to pick the schedule for the rest of the tourney first! Step 4 - Enjoy the night and get ready to play 5 games over the next 2 days! Step 5 - Play 4 round robin games to determine which final you are in, A, B or C
Step 6 - Play for the honors on Sunday
Step 7 - Repeat all over again! So as part of the tournament we set up all the accommodations, the tournament and the party.
