JASMINE’S REFLECTION ON TIME WITH AQB:
I joined the Aquabelles not realizing how much it would change my life. Through this club, I have learned so much from both my teammates and coaches, and I can truly say that being a part of AQB has been one of the best experiences of my life. It has shaped me into a better person, and I will always be grateful for the opportunities and support this club has given me. AQB will forever hold a special place in my heart, thank you for being my second home these past three years❤️

Jasmine, thank you for being such a fantastic role model for all the athletes in the club. The past three years have been an amazing journey in your artistic swimming career. Moving away from home at such a young age is definitely not easy, but your hard work and dedication to the sport allowed you to become the great swimmer and person you are today. We all wish you the very best of luck in the future, which for you is very bright. Best of luck to you in Budapest at Junior Worlds this summer.

Once an Aquabelle, always an Aquabelle.

WHO: Clara Hanratty

WHAT’S NEXT: Clara is heading to Vancouver Island University to pursue a Bachelor of Interior Design.

CLARA’S REFLECTION ON TIME WITH AQB:
Synchro has pushed me in ways I never expected and taught me lessons that will stay with me far beyond the pool. Through challenges, setbacks, long training days, and moments of success, Aquabelles taught me how to work hard, stay determined, and be resilient even when things felt difficult. Artistic swimming taught me that growth does not always happen the way you expect it to, and that hard work, patience, and perseverance matter. Some of my biggest accomplishments came from seasons that challenged me the most. Aquabelles also gave me some of the most important friendships in my life. The people I met through artistic swimming made my experience unforgettable, and I will always be grateful for the incredible people and lifelong friendships I gained from the Aquabelles.

Clara, we at the AQB wish you the very best of luck in your future endeavours. We are so honoured to have been a part of your artistic swimming journey. We are very proud of you and thankful for all that you brought to the club.

WHO: Sydney Gilborn

WHAT’S NEXT: Sydney will be attending Mount Royal University pursuing a Bachelor of Communications in Broadcast Media Studies.

SYDNEY’S REFLECTION ON TIME WITH AQB:
Becoming and being an Aquabelle has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Over the past three years, I rediscovered my love for artistic swimming and found a place where I truly belonged. The long training hours, challenging camps, and early mornings taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Through these experiences, I grew into someone who is stronger, more determined, and ready to face challenges.

The Aquabelles have given me unforgettable memories and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I will always remember supporting and laughing with my teammates, even during the toughest days of training. One of my proudest moments was standing on the nationals podium for the first time. That achievement represented years of hard work, perseverance, and belief in ourselves as a team. It made me proud not only of what we accomplished, but also of how much I had grown as both an athlete and a person.

Thank you to everyone who made these past three years so special and unforgettable.

Thank you Sydney for your hard work and dedication to both the sport and the Aquabelles. You have been a great part of the teams you have been on and have left a great mark on the club. We know that your future is bright and we wish you the very best of luck in your next chapter of your life.
