Today marks our **FIRST official full solo oversized-shipping day** since all the new changes—and I absolutely nailed it! 🖤⚔️💪🏼

**Oversized shipping: conquered.**

FYI: These beauties are staying right here in Alberta, and neither one cost more than $65 to ship! Food for thought.

**Friday Summary 💪🏼**

As I stitch together our posts for the week, it’s fair to say life has been a little spicy.

Mr Resolute—Daddy Bear, the paterfamilias, and the man who is usually on hand to move all the heavy things—has been out of action. The boys have had to be resilient, take on extra jobs, and the big one is now old enough to keep an eye on the little one. That’s meant a few hours of running around like a headless chicken!

We’ve also had to move out of the StrongArm warehouse and figure out the what, how and where of it all—asking for help when needed (which is not our favourite thing to do!).

As I’ve mentioned before, we love our summer road trips and getting out to events, but we’ve had to say no to everything for now. And if you know me, you’ll know that hasn’t been easy.

I’ve had to give us space, grace and time to work things out. That’s life. That’s running a small business. And this is your little peek into our chaos.

So what on earth did he do? 🤔

Well, let me continue the story of the adventures of Mr. Resolute 😮‍💨.

He suffered a ruptured patella in his right knee – In fact, the surgeon said, “I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

A complete reconstructive surgery was performed. Since then, he’s spent 6 weeks keeping his leg straight and in a brace most of the time. At week 6, they allowed flexion in the brace, and by week 8, he was out of the brace and onto physio.

Everything has been very conservative — focused on stretching and flexion exercises. And that’s where we are now.

Anyone who’s met Andy knows his sunny demeanor 🤣 — but through it all, he’s done exactly what he’s been told!

We’ve been so lucky to have our strength community around us, packed with knowledge, recommendations, and support whenever we needed it.

Andy continues to impress his physio with his recovery and strength gains. This is a prime example of the saying: use it or lose it.

We keep pushing forward! 💪

🚨 Update Time! 🚨

I said there were updates, so let me spin you a yarn…

T’was the end of May when our very own Mr. Resolute had quite the unexpected adventure —, out and about one moment, and then brought home by two friends... in a leg brace! 😮‍💨

A week later, he had knee surgery, was stapled back together, and just like that, the summer plans took a sharp turn. We’ve missed seeing all of you on the road on our epic summer event road trips.

But here’s the good news: the road to recovery is well underway! Rehab is going well, the leg brace is off, he’s back at work, (out from under my feet), and able to get behind the wheel again.

Of course, we’re not going anywhere—we just pivot and figure it out.

Today was a weird one. I haven’t played Jeep Jenga in a while! My patriot and my dolly rarely disappoint me. Took our last delivery from the StrongArm warehouse (that of course arrived late).

You wanna know something? Every year we do this. We think next year will be easier, different, bigger—and inevitably something unforeseen arises. But we roll with the punches.

In the evolution and growth of this thing, we just have to remain RESOLUTE.

In a constantly evolving social & political climate, now more than ever I’d advocate for you to support local and support Canadian! 🇨🇦

Of course, we’re not going anywhere—we just pivot and figure it out.
