One of the most common sprinting mistakes we see in young athletes is ๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด.

Instead of striking the ground underneath their body, the athlete reaches their foot out in front with each step. The result? Every foot contact acts like a small brake, slowing them down and reducing running efficiency.

The good news? Sprint mechanics can be improved.

One thing that makes our Summer Youth Athletic Development Program different is that we donโ€™t believe every 8โ€“18 year old athlete should be doing the exact same program.
