For more than 25 years, Boat for Hope has brought thousands of children with disabilities and complex health needs onto the water for a day built around adventure, inclusion, and community.
Each year, more than 400 kids take to the water alongside volunteers, first responders, and the boating community, turning the harbour into a pirate-filled celebration that carries from the water to shore, where families can relax and enjoy the moment together.
For many, it’s a rare chance to experience the water in a way that feels accessible, supported, and unforgettable.
This Saturday, June 13th, Vancouver’s harbour will once again fill with pirates, laughter, and the kind of joy that leaves rippled effects far beyond the shoreline.
