LET’S ALL SHOUT A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO MISS SOPHIE - A DANCE SCHOOL GRADUATE 🥳

Miss Sophie has officially completed her two-year Dance Teacher Training Diploma Program at MCPA 🎓

On a personal note, I woke up to this beautiful message this morning:
“I just wanted to say a massive thank you as you were a major motivator in me applying to this program. I would’ve never had the guts to pursue my dance dreams if I didn’t hear of your experience and see you do what you do everyday. You help me believe in myself and believe this is possible! 💐🤍”

The beautiful thing about this is that Miss Sophie inspires me too. From the moment we were placed on the same competitive dance team together in the valley many years ago, I was inspired by Sophie‘s talent and artistry, and especially her kindness and leadership. It makes me emotional to think about because this is what it’s all about! Artists inspiring artists, coming together to inspire the next generation of artists 🥲

TTP at MCPA is not an easy program to say the least. Kudos to you, Miss Sophie for putting in the work to further not only your career but to help the next generation of dancers flourish 🌱

What a season it has been. Looking through these 20 moments from our year-end recital, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for everything Season 9 brought to our studio family. When we started this season, I knew we had something special, but I could have never predicted the incredible journey we were about to take. As a small-town studio, our goal has always been to provide exceptional training and a supportive home for our dancers, but this year, our students took that foundation and absolutely soared.
To say we are proud would be an understatement.

This season, our dancers went above and beyond, taking the competition and recital stage with undeniable confidence, grace, and technique. Watching our small studio stand tall, push boundaries, and bring home an unbelievable collection of trophies and banners alongside the most incredible studios in the Atlantic provinces was nothing short of magical. It wasn’t just about the awards, though—it was about watching our dancers realize exactly what they are capable of when hard work meets passion. You proved that big things can come from tight-knit communities.

Season 9 truly felt like a peak moment, setting a standard of excellence and heart that will inspire us for years to come. Every single breakthrough, late-night or weekend rehearsal, and backstage hug cemented the fact that we are living out our mission statement each and every day. Thank you to our incredible dancers for your dedication, to our families for your unwavering support, and to everyone who made this unbelievable season possible. We proved that even in a small town you don’t have to just dream about it… You can plan it and do it.

To our many dancers that say farewell to us after season 9, we wish you nothing but the best in all of your future endeavors, and are extremely honoured to have been your starting place. We hope that you excel in the rest of your journey the way you did within our walls.

✨ ONE DECADE OF DANCE ✨

For ten years, we have been honored to provide quality dance instruction to the Bridgewater community. We are so proud of how far our dancers have come, and we can’t wait to kick off Season 10 with some exciting updates!

We’re shaking things up to offer more flexibility and growth than ever before, with new customizable training bundles allowing families to choose the level of weekly commitment that best fits their goals.

📢 STAY TUNED: We will be releasing more information very soon regarding our official Season 10 schedule and specific technical training blocks!

Placement Details (Ages 7+):
To ensure every dancer is in the right environment to thrive, we require the following groups to attend our placement session on June 2nd:
• Current Competitive Dancers: All current Plan A competitive dancers are to attend. For the first time, this includes current Applause, Avalanche and Hiphop 1 & 2 students.
• New Dancers: Any experienced dancers age 7+ looking to join the Plan A competitive program.
*ALL ATTENDEES MUST RSVP BY DM OR EMAIL BY MAY 30*

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: 200 Dufferin St, Bridgewater
Attire: Black dance wear
Cost: $0 FREE!

Dancers who show exceptional potential in artistry and technique, and who are committed to a more extensive training bundle, will have the opportunity to add extra competitive small groups in addition to their teams. We are so excited to invite you to our very first summer dance session in Liverpool! Join us at the Brooklyn Community Hall for four weeks of movement, skill-building, and fun.

Thursday Schedule (July 9, 16, 23, & 30):
4:45–5:45 | Tumble/Dance (Ages 3–6): $75
5:45–6:30 | Jazz (Ages 7+): $65
6:30–7:15 | Tumbling (Ages 7+): $65

4 Week Evening Dance Sessions at Plan A Bridgewater ☀️

Keep those skills sharp all summer long with our July and August dance series! We have three incredible options to keep dancers moving:

✨ Summer Ballet with Miss Kim
• Mondays in July (6,13,20,27)
• Ages 3–5, 6–10, and 11+
• Placement Note: Dancers over age 11 with no prior experience may be placed with the younger age group for a more appropriate level.

🤸 Summer Acro & Tumbling with Miss Jocelyn
• Wednesdays in July (8,15,22,29)
• Ages 3–6: Put the FUN in fundamentals while growing your skill set and confidence.
• Level 1 (Ages 7+): Ideal for those working on handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, and aerials.
• Level 2 (Ages 7+): For those who already have L1 skills and are working on more advanced skills such as handsprings, tucks, and variations.

💃 Summer Jazz Tech + Pilates with Miss Emily & Miss Mallory
• Tuesdays in August (4,11,18,25)
• Ages 7+ (Experience Required): Dancers will be grouped by level across two rooms to ensure the best environment for individual growth. All dancers will receive instruction from both teachers and train for 45 minutes in both jazz and pilates.
