Last night, we celebrated the Alberta High School Rodeo Association Class of 2026 at Cowboy Prom.
As Provincial Finals come to a close, our hearts are full. We are incredibly proud of each and every graduate who walked across that stage. These young men and women are more than contestants—they are leaders, role models, teammates, and the future of our western way of life.
Behind every graduate is a family who made it possible. Countless miles on the road, early mornings, late nights, endless loads of laundry, horses to feed, entries to make, trailers to pull, and sacrifices that often go unseen. To the parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who stood beside these graduates every step of the way—thank you.
No matter how long they wore an AHSRA back number, they became part of our family. They are Team Alberta, and we are proud to have shared in their journey. We have watched them grow from nervous rookies into confident young adults ready to take on whatever comes next.
While their high school rodeo careers may be ending, the friendships, memories, lessons, and values they gained through this association will stay with them forever. Rodeo teaches resilience, responsibility, humility, sportsmanship, and hard work—and this graduating class carries those qualities in abundance.
To our graduates: thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. We are proud of who you are, proud of what you have accomplished, and excited to see where life takes you next.
Once Team Alberta, always Team Alberta.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. ❤️
